"First dealership I’ve purchased a vehicle from, the process was easy, employees were nice. I had no issues for the first month, until my engine light started flashing. Make sure you check if your vehicle has any active or past recalls on it before purchasing it from this Gray Daniel’s, I was sold a Vehicle with an engine recall, they claimed they “didn’t have loaner cars” too."
"Recently had an issue with my Ford F150 that left me stranded on the side of the interstate less than a mile from Gray Daniels. Called the dealership and was greeted by Cindy who after i explained my issue was most likely transmission related, thus still under factory power train warranty, abruptly asked "me what do you want me to do about it", followed by "if it is transmission our guys are over 2 months behind" with little care or tact toward the situation. She asked if I wanted her to call a tow truck and I said yes, ignorantly assuming the tow was covered under the warranty. I call 3 days later only to have the phone ring for over 6 minutes then hung up on, so I go by in person to get an estimated time until someone at least look at it and was left with no answer on how long , while she just looked upset I was interrupting her eating ice cream at her desk. I called the other local Ford dealer Maik Haik, and spoke with the service department, and within 10 minutes found a timeline of 2 weeks to repair, and advice on using Ford roadside assistance to get it transported for free, something Cindy never mentioned and once the tow truck driver arrived to take it to the other dealer she wouldn't give the keys because "we don't pay for tows, we've never paid for tows for anyone". I had to pay 92 dollars to release my vehicle. I understand 3 days is not a long time, but just the few experiences I had were enough to tell me not to risk more rude interaction that was completely un called for. I was never anything but respectful but was treated like my problems were a burden."
"Being new to town I based my Ford dealership service selection on Google reviews, so I chose Gray Daniels for a simple oil change on a 2022 vehicle. I had noticed a small squeak which I believed to be the driveshaft so I specifically asked them to lube the shaft zerk fittings. After 1.5 hours I saw my truck driven back around, I gave them 5 minutes giving them the benefit of the doubt (they were not busy), but then had to go up and request to pay in order to leave. At this time they told me they were unable to service the driveshaft because the oil technician wasn't qualified or something like that. I then paid and returned to my vehicle which still had the old oil reminder sticker on the windshield, my oil life monitor had not been reset, and I found oil spillage under the hood. I do not recommend Gray Daniels Service and will not return."
