"$10 cover charge and then beers are $4.25 a pop?! What a joke. Next the security was outrageous and doing the most. I was frisked upon entry like I was at a south Jackson slime pit. Bartenders were slow without having a packed bar. Went out to smoke between pool games and was searched over and over again. If yall are that scared, close down. Not everyone was searched upon re entry either. Had a drunk man bother the absolute horns off mine and my company’s Billy goat all night but security couldn’t be bothered with that. This place is obnoxious and I’ll definitely be taking my nights out somewhere else. The entire atmosphere all night was just stressful 4/8/24"

"Shuckers is one of my favorite spots in the reservoir area. Almost every evening these a band playing except maybe Mondays. Saturday nights they get pretty packed. The food is not bad. The best thing to me is their fried shrimp and catfish. They have pizza but the crust could be better. The bayou pasta also could have been better as the menu said angel hair pasta but from my picture you can tell it’s not lol. Flavor was okay though. Shrimps are small and not deveined but also for 16 bucks which is probably the cheapest seafood pasta I’ve had. All in all great spot though. Never had any problems with the staff. Everyone is usually nice from the security to the bar staff."

"No complaints. Visited here on a Friday evening around 6. There was live music. Our waitress was sweet and helpful and our food was DELICIOUS. Apparently they've undergone a recent menu change, so I was disappointed that some items were missing. But there's still plenty to choose from."
