"This place was much better when it was on Central Street. You can tell that the establishment no longer cares to serve good food. This was quite literally the worst lunch I had while visiting Greenville (and I had Taco Bell one day) so that should tell you. I ordered rib tips and they came out horrible. I asked the young lady how the rib tips were made. She told me they “microwave them in Saran Wrap to make sure they stay moist” girl what??? I had Gator bites too, those were deliciousness fried into a ball. Still not enough make me return."

"There were only 4 other tables occupied when we went in. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come and get us drinks and she said there were only 2 servers so sorry about the wait. There was only us 5 tables!!! Y’all weren’t busy!! My country fried steak tasted like they bought the best value brand bag from Walmart and fried it themselves, it was paper thin and tough, I had to saw through it. My parter got the taster plate and the meat was so bland, there was no seasoning. The chicken breast was so dry it was like eating cotton. I would go on but I’m tired of typing. Will not be back."

"The employees were really nice. I'm not sure who the gentleman that was sitting at the table close to the back but he was really courteous and thanked me for coming. Perhaps it was the owner. I will definitely go back and dine in."

"This group of people are the best. Being visitors to MS we aren’t use to the discolored water. They were happy to get us new drinks but after tasting the water, sweet tea, and Sprite we settled on bottle water. They were very understanding and patient with me and my family. Now about the food, OMG! The absolute best!! The food was made fresh when ordered so when it was done cooking they brought it straight to our table and didn’t wait for all the food to be done at the same time. Great food, customer service and just good place to have a family dinner. I ordered the pull pork sandwich (see below). It was amazing. My mom had the daily special, which was a New York strip, baked potato and salad. She was pleasantly surprised at how they got the order correct and how tender the steak was. Definitely a must stop and enjoy their food!!"

"Stopped here for dinner on our way to Arkansas and everything was great! Highly recommend the gator. The staff was also very friendly and even gave us recommendations for attractions near our destination. Will definitely come back!"
