Reviews
"Seems to just be some empty space underneath the power lines that needed to be used for something. Lots of garbage strung about the area and trails are poorly marked. The area could be upgraded to show types of wildlife and what type of ecosystem we are part of. Lot of dog waste on the trails as well. The crossings with the bridges are nice and adds to the experience of seeing some of the sloughs."
"I love driving slow throughout the reserve and seeing all the amazing wildlife. There are a few places to park and view."
"Peaceful trail, very quiet.. This time of year it was loaded with blackberries. Saw a few birds, snakes. Plenty of parking spaces."
"This is a wonderful place where people of all physical abilities can find something to enjoy. There are Trails for the young and those with dogs to walk. There are quiet roads to travel, and indoor facilities at the dam. Birders love the place, as it attracts many species, some from far away, at times. It is very close to I-82, making access a snap. Bring a picnic lunch!"
"If you want to see deer, fish, and walk on nature trails come to McNary Wildlife Nature. Just don't go off the trail because there's deer ticks. I love how relaxing it is here, you can bring the kids to the playground as well and also enjoy the picnic tables in this park."
