"Came out with a group of friends to kayak around for the day. Lots of boats and family’s around fishing and having a good time! When we launched, we hugged the left side and ventured into the river that feeds the lake. The water was calm and at one point motorized boats weren’t allowed back there. Plenty of kayaking in calm water! Lots of nesting boxes and ospreys to view along the journey. I would highly recommend any kayakers to venture back and glide through the dead standing trees along the banks. Be careful tho. They have been dead for some time and can be very unpredictable."
"Water was way down and very still, like a sheet of glass. Fishing was not very good this day but beautiful day , very relaxing"
"Great place to spend a summer day or more since there is a campground"
"Absolutely beautiful small lake/Reservoir, good launch, clean enough bathroom at the dock. We saw turtles, hawks, eagles, herons, other people catching fish!! None for us today!"
"We rented #3 cabin for five days and it was amazing. Number three is handicapped accessible with a ramp and extra large bathroom. There is a futon, table with two chairs, heater, ceiling fan, microwave, toaster, three burner stove, and sink. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and decent size shower with a chair. Outside there is a deck with a bench, picnic table, fire pit with grill that folds down, and three trees perfect for hammocks. All of that and the view of the lake makes it the best cabin of the three offered."
