"DO NOT DRIVE ALL THE WAY OUT ON NF 3363!!! THERE IS NOTHING THERE AND THE ROAD STARTS TO GET GNARLY. ITS ABOUT 5 OR 6 MILES IN. Many views and camp spots along the way in though. If you're looking to see the big tree and Elk Creek Falls go to NF 33 just after the split for NF 3358."
"The trail for big tree is pretty darn steep from Elk creek falls. Pretty short as well. I enjoy hiking often and had to take a few breathers. Well worth the effort for the solitude and rewarding once you get to the top. There is plenty of big Douglas firs and sword frens along the way but the cedar is pretty darn impressive."
"It's steep and intense, but beautiful."
"This was a short awesome hike. Just a few minutes pass Powers Oregon. There is a awesome place in Powers to eat also. Lol the only bar grill there."
"Great stop on the way to Coquille, we look forward to camping out here some time. Very easy to get to, water flow was great for a dry spring."
