"This park is very nice and relaxing. The park manager (April) was very sweet and loaned us her propane grill due to the fire ban. Saved our butts. Thank you so much. we'll be coming back for sure. Park is beautiful"
"Excellent little out of the way park and campground. No cell reception and pretty far out in the country, but those aren't bad things! Great little waterfall and swim areas, with some nice tubing. Big group camp sites are very nice. $5 daily for day use, or $35 annual pass (State) never seems to be too crowded."
"Stunning little park, secreted away along the Siletz River. $5 entry or $35 for the year - what value for money...WOW. Waterfalls trickling into the river, a small sandy beach area, plenty of picnic spots, and ground BBQ pits, plus plenty of beautifully maintained trees making shady spots to lie in the breeze. Tent, RV or just day use, this park is the best in the area. Pet friendly, leash only, but plenty of seemingly clueless or self entitled folks making trouble with dogs off leash, or not picking up feces."
"We come here every 2 years for my wife's family reunion. Bring your own tube to float down the river. Water is cold but well worth the dive. We have always stayed for a day, but we tend to return for a camping day here."
"It is simply a campground, but the kids and family had a great time at Moonshine Park even though there were to many people and not enough fishing near camp. On a good note they have flushable toilets and private showers. $1.25 will get you 7 minutes of water that is actually always hot and the camp host is very nice and they do a fantastic job keeping everything clean."
