"We had a lot of fun here! The sand is very soft-claylike like youd find on a Gulf Coast beach however because the beach is very long (more than it looks in the photo) walking from the street through the sand to the water is very difficult and hurts after a little bit due to how the sand conforms to your steps. But it was a super beautiful beach to spend the day at and admire the things around you, I hope we can go again!"
"Beautiful beach! Have to stop and check it out. Not a lot of parking, only street parking for this beach but well worth it. A bit of a walk downhill past a hotel along the trail. There are benches and spots to take a break and enjoy the views from higher up. One of the best beach locations in Newport with cool rocks and crashing waves on the rocks in the distance."

"Big beautiful Sandy Beach with one lonely palm tree. Watch the coast guard practice routines but don't waste time looking for agates at least according to the Oregon State Park rep that was there, you won't find any."
