Reviews of NW 26th St Beach Access
"58 steps to sandy glory! With a beautiful Bryan Nichols original mural at the top step!"
"Lovely beach. Decent restrooms. Very little parking. Many steps to get down to the beach. If I had mobility issues I would choose a different access point."
"Bathroom facilities are a single unit so there can be a wait time. There's a foot wash and 2 different height water fountains. The beach is nice, however there's an area that makes it look like water settles in close to the access stairs. Speaking of stairs, there are a lot of them. Less that at the access on 21st, but still a lot. The views are nice, but the sand is rough. You have to get close to the water to enjoy a stroll. There's also not a wide band of beach to stroll. There's a sharp decline to the water and there's not a lot of room to walk. It's still an out of the way place to go if everything else is more popular at the moment."
"Nice, quiet beach. There are interesting rock formations great for exploring. This is a very good place to find agates and often I find sea snail shells. There is a long, steep stairway so be aware that the uphill climb is a bit strenuous. The steep stairs might keep the crowds small."
