"Make sure you confirm the price before you leave. My 3rd visit the Asian guy decided on his own without notifying me to charge me $3.50 per pound instead of the quoted $2.50. No reason given apart from clothes cost extra for wash and fold. When asked what else is there besides clothes to wash and fold he said towels!! Refused to pay and price was dropped back to $2.50. Be Careful!!"
"My wife recently brought in her dress that is for our daughters wedding. It is a satin dress that as we did find out is sensitive to staining by water. She thought she had touched it with her hands still wet and there was a light discoloration left. She took it to Sparkle to ask them if they were able to take the stain out. The gentleman at the front took the dress to the back, he came back and said, not we cant get it out. But when she looked at it there were two more stains. She told him she hadn't given them permission to try and get the discoloration out but if they could. She pointed out that there were not more even more noticeable stains that were not there before he took the dress. He said sorry we cant do anything about the stains and asked if she wanted it pressed. She again said that there were not stains like that on it before he took it and he just said there isn't anything they could do. He didn't offer to pay to replace the dress they ruined, or compensate at all. He basically said "that's too bad". We are having to order another dress and have it expressed shipped adding more cost so we get it in time for the wedding. Avoid this business at all costs, there are plenty of other cleaners in town who would honor their customers and take care of them. In the photos I tried to highlight the stains, the stains are a darker color but because of the sheen they look white."
"The dry cleaning is fine, the customer service is not. Frankly for me, as long as i got my clothes back the way i asked, then we don't need to have long, cuddly conversations. The problem comes in when I don't get my clothes back at all. I sometimes used their delivery service when I knew I'd be in town. Over two years using this dry cleaners , at least on a two-week basis--150/200 bucks a month. This time, I don't get my delivery. I figured they must have been confused and didn't deliver them today. I go in and they say, oh they were delivered, someone must have stolen them and then she tells me, I kinda knew that was going to happen. WHAT!? SO i digest that info--as that bunch of clothes were my starting team clothes. Easily $1500 worth of suits/dress shirts/silk ties. And, I still owed $98 for dry -cleaning services for clothes I never got back. I don't even know if they were really delivered! I have no proof that they were, except for their word. Mind you, we don't have a cuddly relationship because I do business with them based on their results, not their friendliness or personality. The results were I didn't get my clothes. I asked if they would at least give me a discount on the cost of the dry cleaning on the clothes I didn't actually get. The answer: well we delivered them and you owe it. I paid it, and closed my account with them. If your customer service sucks, you can rely on results. If those results suck and you don't have the fore-thought of discounting a longtime and very regular customer really just 50 bucks to keep their business, then this customer is going to spend their $2000 a year somewhere else. Seriously, I hope the owner reads this and reads between the lines. I hope if you are thinking about using them, you don't expect that you'll always get your clothes back, but you'll have to always pay them for the effort of not getting them back to you."
