Tired Dog Ranch

"Loved loved our stay at the Tired Dog Ranch. My 2 teenage boys and I stayed for 3 nights. Yurt had such a peaceful feeling to it. Large with kitchen, bathroom etc. Very clean, very stylish interior to the Yurt. Bed was so comfortable. Pullout bed also in the living room area. I did not want to leave. We had our dog with us. You step outside the Yurt and are in a beautiful forest with paths to a creek. Chickens nearby. Your own fire pit right in front. Spoke to Sally (Ranch owner) over the phone, and established a very nice rapport. I can’t wait to go back, 3 nights wasn’t enough."

"Tired Dog Ranch is an amazingly beautiful and relaxing vacation retreat. I travel often and sometimes find it difficult to find a family friendly location that also offers privacy for the adults and IS DOG FRIENDLY!! Tired Dog offers it all!! My family and I shared a wonderful vaction in the spacious cottage. Myself, husband and 4 of our grandchildren had an amazing weekend. There are trails, basketball courts, the kids played games in the large open field. A year later my husband and I shared a romantic weekend in the celestial yurt. It was incredible.. simply said, they have something for everyone and every occasion. I can not wait to hold my dauggters 5 year wedding anniversary in this beautiful setting. "Tired Dog Ranch is a beautiful ranch on many acres near the Willamette River and forest-- we brought both our kids and dogs on a long weekend holiday. The boys enjoyed playing basketball and riding bikes around the ranch and the dogs had a wonderful time snooping on all of the animals around the ranch. We took many walks around the property with our dogs and they loved running off leash in the big pasture. The views are stunning in the evening :-0 The cottage was very clean, spacious for our family with a loft upstairs, and stocked with delicious eggs from Sally's free range chickens. Sally's a gregarious host and is incredibly friendly. Have no idea what the prior reviewer is talking about. This place is completely dog, family, and fun friendly!! Was a great respite for us. Our family will return hopefully in the fall to explore again!"

"We stayed here through the Fourth of July and absolutely loved it! Sally was very sweet and accommodating with our late arrival and having our dog! We rented the yurt and it was amazing! The bed was so comfy! She even had fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge with a stick of butter! We’ll definitely return again!"

"Great getaway, amazing host My husband, 3 of our kids and I spent three nights in the Cottage. (With our dogs!) The space was the perfect size for us: cozy, without being cramped. Sally is an amazing host; she made us feel at home and cared for. The property is astounding: fields to run in, woods to explore, creeks to splash in. The ranch itself is a wonderful space, and we could have spent a week there without leaving and without getting bored. The surrounding area is also astounding, and we could have spent a month exploring trails, skiing and wandering. Thank you, Sally, for an amazing getaway!"
