Midway Cleaners

"We’ve been going to Midway Cleaners for years and even had alterations. Never a problem until now. On Friday 02/16/2024 at around noon. My husband had a two piece suit and 1 pair of suit pants to be cleaned. The woman behind the counter was so rude complaining how the sleeves on the suit jacket were so dirty she doubted she could get them cleaned and said my husband waited too long to bring it in for cleaning. My husband said I’ll just take it somewhere else and she said yes take them somewhere else. We took them to another cleaner where the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and said he would be able to clean them. He said the suit wouldn’t look new but would be clean. So disappointed in Midway Cleaners. They have now lost a former dedicated customer. She could have kindly explained why she felt they couldn’t clean an item instead of rudely disrespecting a customer."

"I just picked up a large load of 14 shirts and was charged $84. That’s $6 per shirt. This is a big increase that we weren’t told about and since the prices aren’t posted I had no way of knowing. The dry cleaner across the street is $3 per shirt and the quality and service are comparable. I’m going across the street from now on. If you go to midway you need to ask about the prices up front."

"John is very very rude person blaming everyone and everything else but taking responsibility. Clothes are never ready on time instead of talking starts yelling at customers like who would do that and starts talking about his personal problems.they are not doing anything for free If he can’t keep up with his services and problems close your business for few days and catch up don’t take your frustrations on us. Never going back there."

"Left my wedding dress there for two months, when I tried to reach them about the status of it they were getting mad and rude because of their personal problems there was no one to clean my dress. Two months after received a call, they told me they couldn’t clean it because it had some metal on the bottom…. AFTER TWO MONTHS, also asked me to pick up my dress as soon as possible because I was taking too much space there…. Like whattt? After two months…. I have heard a lot of good reviews but this situation was very unpleasant and highly not professional!!!"

"John is great and takes care of us. We enjoy using midway and have for 2 years. They also do alterations here. Good family owned business here that is very accommodating. We have take bedding here as well with zero issues."
