"American Hero was 1 of a few companies recommended to me for the rental I just moved in to. The carpets were horrendous, the stains (mostly pet) were so set in that my carpet cleaner didn't make a difference. They still felt grimy and looked horrible and stunk after I went tried to clean them. American Hero gave a quote via FB messenger & then did an in-home official quote that was pretty close to what he quoted online. They were the best price and they were able to come a few days later. We left a few big pieces of furniture on the carpet but moved everything else. They moved some of the furniture we had to leave and cleaned around them. My dining room was 1 of the worst rooms, looked like mold along the edge of one wall... That was gone when I got home after American Hero Carpet Cleaning was there. They got almost all the stains out of all the rooms, the carpets look, feel and smell 1000 times better! (Wish I had before and after pics so you can see the improvement)."

"Not only did Ryan fit us in with less than 24-hours notice, he made the carpets in our new house look and smell amazing! There was a doggy smell in one room, and Ryan recommended an odor neutralizing project that so far seems to have done the trick (and that he didn't even charge us extra for)! The price couldn't be beat, he showed up exactly when promised and even called when he was on the way, he left our carpets barely damp to help us be able to move our furniture in more quickly, and to top it off, he is a genuinely nice, friendly person who helped infuse our stressful day with cheerfulness and calm. "Just had an excellent experience with Ryan at American Hero. Found him recommended on one of the Corvallis FB sites. He solved problems I wasn't sure could be resolved. The home we bought had ugly ripples in the carpet throughout the living room and down a hallway. He stretched and refitted the carpet, cleaned it, and gave us a very finished look w/o having to replace any carpet. It looks great. Communicated his plan and arrival time well. Professional work. Value pricing. Call him."

"I hate leaving this review, but I feel it is my civic duty to warn people NOT to use this carpet cleaning service. The carpet was not clean, so he agreed to come back again because his work is guaranteed; but then he charged me another $125 for the second visit(?). I didn’t argue and paid it. After the carpet dried the second time and STILL wasn’t clean, he wanted to come over again and I stopped him. This was new carpet, installed two weeks prior that had a dog urine spot with waterproof padding underneath. He claimed he could easily get it out when he first came over but now he wanted to rip up the carpet and replace the padding, convinced the smell was in the padding - but it was STILL in the carpet. I just couldn’t deal with his run around anymore. He never showed up when he said he was going to and never called to say he wasn’t going to make it. At one point, he left my carpet ripped up for several days, repeatedly telling me to he would be coming by, but not showing up. I worried he’d leave it that way and I’d have to get someone else to reinstall it. I needed to move into my house as this fiasco had been going on two weeks already. So instead of coming back over he apologized and offered me a $120 refund which I thought was nice, but I had to ask him twice over a two month period about whether he was going to send it, each time he’d promise to bring it by but never showed up. Yesterday was the worst though. He actually gave me a bad check! He said “I added $10 dollars more for your struggle with me.” But I went to cash it and it bounced with no money in the account. Ryan wasted my time, my money and my patience. He is an extremely nice guy that has all the right things to say, but not a good choice for cleaning your carpets. I would choose another service."
