"WE HAVE ADDED AN UPDATE TO OUR ORIGINAL REVIEW. IMPORTANT TO READ THIS IN ADDITION TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW. We called around to get quotes to strip and wax our old black and white tile floor. Chicos pricing was comparable to others and cheaper than one of the big name companies. We have a restaurant in Stayton that will be opening soon for inside dining and we wanted that old black and white tile to shine when we opened. After a lot of research I decided to go with Chicos and was very happy we made that choice. His employee Herminio was early to the job site and ready to go. After he was done the floor is so shiny it looks wet. I still am walking around carefully so I don’t slip because I am not yet used to the super shine the floor now has. If you’re looking for someone that is on time, fair priced and high quality I recommend you use Chicos Carpet & Restoration. We are very pleased and will have them back to do the maintenance and keep the shine on our floors. UPDATE JUNE 21 We were told the job they did would last 3 months before needing any maintenance. Providing we did daily cleaning with a PH neutral cleaner. We did as instructed. We did not open until May 5th. After one month of foot traffic the floor has lost its shine and is not much better than before they did the job. When we asked about about what they could do the answer was $750 for doing maintenance every 3 months. We paid $937.50 for the initial job. We were told the maintenance would be at a much reduced cost. I don’t see that at a much reduced cost especially for a job that only lasted for 1 month not 3 months. We have decided to purchase our own floor scrubber and chemical at a cost less than the $750 for quarterly maintenance. It’s a small space less than 700 square feet and cannot justify spending $3000 annually for “maintenance “. Do your research carefully when choosing someone to do this type of work. Ask lots of specific questions and get specific answers. After payment was issued we were asked multiple times to put in a good Google review which we did as the floor did look very nice and they were puntual and professional. Now we know why the Google review was wanted so quickly as the job would not last the 3 months as we were told. From reading other reviews they must be good at carpets and couches as they have many happy customers. Not wanting to take anything away from them but did want to let others know about our experience with this company. Knowing what I know now I would not have hired this company. Good news is I have my own equipment now and can do the work anytime I want and will recoup my money that was unwisely spent to begin with."
