"I've been having health issues that affect my daily life and work for two years now and have gone in circles, seeing doctors, specialists, physician's assistants, emergency room doctors, etc. And so far everyone has passed the buck. I am not much closer to figuring out my health issues than when I started, and what I have learned has been through my own googling. So I just filled out this year's Health Engagement Model survey on Providence's website, and answered honestly about how my health has been and how much work I've missed. You know, the situation Providence employees have done their best to avoid helping me with? The subsequent report on my health told me that people who report having frequent fair health and missing work frequently due to their health are actually just feeling down emotionally, and it gave me some resources for reducing stress and having a more positive outlook on life. W.T. actual F., Providence? Are you kidding me? I have actual health issues, but way to pass the buck even in your automated systems. Absolutely pathetic."
"I had water in my lungs and could no longer breathe. I got into the ER. Almost all the doctors and assistants promised me that everything would be covered by insurance. Now I have a bill for over $ 6,800."
"I have been trying to make a new patient appointment for a week now- no one answers the phone. You get a message that says it will take longer than 5 minutes. I have held on for at least 30 minutes each time I called my current call is at 1 hour and 2 minutes. Either they don't actually want new patients or they are severely understaffed."
"Providence is fantastic"
