Portland Children's Dentistry - Woodstock

"I took my two foster kids here due to bad dental experiences elsewhere. Dr, David was EXCELLENT with my kids. He was patient, kind, kid-friendly—everything you’d hope a dentist would be for kids, much less kids with trauma. I especially want to review him because we brought our foster son to him due to another dentist having a nonchalant attitude toward a growing mass in our son’s mouth. We’d been to 2 other specialists who refused to do anything. Dr. David patiently listened to our story, took X-rays, ON HIS OWN contacted one of the other dentists we’d seen so he could collaborate with him, and developed a treatment plan with our son’s developmental ability in mind. He was able to do a significant procedure, sealants, and other work quickly and in one sitting!! If that all weren’t enough, when I didn’t get a bill and called (because we were paying cash), his staff told us Dr. David likes to support foster families and had personally waived our bill. In our foster care experience we’ve often had providers or community members want a “feel-good moment” to hand out charity to our kids, which is degrading. Not only did Dr. David show our kids great care, attention, and understanding, but he was unexpectedly generous without announcement or fanfare. We won’t soon forget it or be going anywhere else."

Great expertise on oral health and a very smooth experience! Thanks to hygienist Cristina for making lots of fun faces to keep baby entertained."

"I absolutely love it here. My son used to be super averse to the dentist; sometimes it was a fight just getting him to open his mouth. He’s done great at Portland Children’s Dentistry every time! Everyone is so nice and they do a really great job making the kiddos feel comfortable. In every room they have TVs on the ceiling so they can watch cartoons while they are being treated! It’s awesome. They have really reasonable prices as well, which is great since we don’t have dental insurance. I could go on and on about this place, they are the best! So glad we found them! We make the drive up from Corvallis because they are that wonderful, it’s totally worth it."

The best waiting room (my kids did not want to leave) and Dr Patty was fast, efficient, and very engaging. I cannot believe the dentist was such a positive experience for my kids!! "Dr. Patty & her team are wonderful! My two boys (ages 4 & 7) LOVE going to the dentist. They like the TV above the chair, the sunglasses to block the bright exam light, and the token they get to spend on a prize of their choice. I like how bright & cheery the space is, how kind and thorough the hygienists are, and how encouraging and warm Dr. Patty is. We are so fortunate to have a dentist is our neighborhood that we truly trust and who has made dental care a genuinely enjoyable experience for our kiddos."
