"I first off want to say staff have always been supportive and I appreciated the compassion I had received from them. They were so supportive two years ago when my cat passed away. However, recently there has been a change in the quality of care due to the clinic being overwhelmed with the amount of patients. My dog needed surgery and she had to wait 2 months. When the surgery did came, he wasn’t able to finish the surgery, even sending her home with an open drainage. (No JP drain or anything, just open at the bottom so blood dropped freely). Then the clinic said they had to redo the estimate and charged double (from $1700 on high end of the bid to $3000). My dog required additional treatment and he said he ordered her medicine and is waiting on delivery to the clinic. After a few weeks, I kept calling and staff finally said he couldn’t order it because a specialist needs to order it, and he didn’t get a chance to tell me because he went to a vet conference. I requested to be sent to speciality, but by the time I got in to the OVRA, my dog had gotten sicker from lack of treatment. The specialist stated if she would have saw her 3 months earlier, her disease could have been curable. She died waiting for her treatments. This clinic is overwhelmed with the amount of patients being seen and they should know when something is beyond their scope of practice. I’m truly heart broken because this was a practice I had respected so much."
