"Referral sent in as a priority a month ago and no one will call me back to schedule a procedure. I have left numerous voice messages with no response."
"As others have written, it is near impossible to arrange an appointment here. I am a month into sending referrals to this clinic. My previous doctor has now sent my referral 4 times, but when I call OHSU, they say they have zero record of them (or any notes of speaking with me, though I have been calling for the past 4 weeks). EVEN THOUGH another employee had confirmed they received one two weeks ago, but it was just 'processing.' Establishing care at OHSU is notoriously difficult (PC appointments are 6 months out just to see a resident), but as someone 23 weeks pregnant and experiencing an inflammatory bowel disease flare during a high risk pregnancy, you would think they would at least try to make sure to receive your referral. I really don't know what my next step is."
"After waiting 4 months for an appointment, they left a voicemail cancelling less than 24 hours in advance. In the voicemail, they said to call back to reschedule. Well, after over 2 hours on hold, ther person responsible for the rescheduling is too busy to talk today. OHSU discriminates based on income level, because lower income individuals can't afford to block out weeks of their lives to deal with OHSU's nughtmare of a scheduling team. I'm sure I'll still be suffering and un-seen by OHSU this time next year."
"I have called 3 times and left messages trying to get an appointment. It's been well over 30 days still nothing. I wouldn't waste your time with these clowns. I would have left 0 stars if it was an option."
"The GI team at OHSU saved my life and have given me a fighting chance. I've been suffering for years and have had my problems ignored until my body couldn't take it anymore. If it weren't for these doctors and their unending patience, I don't think I would be around anymore. I have nothing but wonderful things to say for their patience and compassion. Thank you so much, to the entire department."
