"I am very new to indoor plants. Last summer I got a zz plant from an online company that does self-watering pots. A few months ago some stems and leaves started to turn brown and I wasn’t sure what was wrong. I went to Staghorn to ask for help. The staff there are so friendly and knowledgeable. Dan answered all my questions so patiently and he explained to me that self-watering system isn’t great for zz plant. I decided to bring my zz plant there and Dan did a great job helping repot my zz plant to a nursery pot (they are totally fine that I want to use a pot I bought somewhere else) and get rid of dead parts. The cost for repotting was very reasonable. Thank you for saving my plant! I would definitely go there to get plants in the future."

"Beautiful shop to step in on a cold rainy day. Really warm store with a huge selection of indoor plants and nice selection of little gift ideas. Enjoyed walking around looking at everything in the store and finding all the star wars figures."

"I’m not a huge fan of plants in general myself, but I’ve been in a couple of times to buy plants as gifts, and Staghorn Mercantile has an awesome selection and very knowledgeable staff that I feel I can trust to guide me in the right direction! My elderly father indicated to me that he wanted a “creeping plant” (?) So I made a beeline for Staghorn and a really pleasant fellow named Dan showed me several varieties and explained the level of care needed for each - He even helped me pick out a nice pot when I indicated that I wanted to make a little more “gifty!” I really like knowing exactly where to go when I need to give something meaningful like a plant!"

"It’s always so nice just to walk around this beautiful plant shop. My girlfriend and I always go in and are greeted by the friendliest employees and are given tips or advice as we walk around. They even pot your plants for you if you want! It’s such a great shop and I am always happy to spend my time there when my girlfriend drags me out."
