"Julie with Saber Construction is amazing to work with! Super professional, prompt with communications, very detail oriented, and fun to work with. I highly recommend working with Julie at Saber!"
"We recently hired Saber Construction for a remodelling project following significant water damage in our home. From start to finish, their team did an amazing job. The project manager Julie and Corryn was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs, ensuring all our concerns were addressed promptly. The crew was punctual and respectful of our space, which is a big plus for us.They made our space look better than before. Budget-wise, they were straight up with us from the get-go. No surprise costs or anything – everything was clear and fair. And they stuck to their timelines, which was a relief. We are thoroughly impressed with Sabor and would highly recommend them for any remodelling needs."
"I am so pleased with Saber Construction for the restoration work they did on my condo bathroom ceiling. Braden did a great job from start to finish. My "kudos” for his attention to detail, his work ethic, and making sure everything was done right. As happens with these kinds of jobs, you run into the unexpected. I appreciated how quickly Dave checked in on the situation and assured me this would be taken care of. It was, and I am pleased to report that the job looks even better than how it looked before. I highly recommend Saber and would use them again if needed."
"Project: Master Bathroom Remodel, May 2023 “100% Satisfaction! The quality and service were outstanding! Expertise: The project manager’s Corryn & Julie were immediately accessible by text, and coordination was flawless. Subcontractors were well-supervised and clearly chosen for their excellence and craftsmanship. Professional & Organized: Saber Construction went beyond the project manager’s oversight of the subcontractors. Everything was laid out for us in detail from the first project meeting. Project manager’s Corryn and Julie remained consistent with the budget and/or adjustments during the project. Schedule: From the get-go, we requested a project timeline. Saber finished on time, in spite of the a few supply chain issues that came up due to the pandemic. Our manager informed us every day what would be happening the next few days and who would be coming in to work and the approximate time they would arrive. If that changed during the day, we got a call, text or email from the project manager. Budget: When you demolish an existing master bathroom in a 39-year-old house, you hold your breath for expensive surprises hiding underneath. It’s inevitable that there will be something. The budget made allowances for “surprises” but it was always clear from the first kickoff meeting that some might exceed the estimate. Our extra charges were reasonable, unavoidable and expected. Construction Quality: The Saber Construction manager’s would show us and explain each part of the work before moving on. Communication: The project manager’s were our sole contact once construction began. Both remained always accessible by text, phone or email; and responded immediately. They communicated with all subcontractors. Problem Resolution: Things were planned so well that problems were minimal. They kept on top of ordering and keeping track of the delivery status with vendors, which was challenging at times with pandemic-related supply chain issues. We only had one real problem, when t the end of the project, the shower control module (extension) was delayed in arriving. This was do to no fault of Saber Construction. Clean & Safe: It’s a challenge for both the homeowner and contractor when the homeowner stays in residence. Amazingly, that did not happen here, hardwood floors and pathways were covered; and all materials and equipment were kept out of the way each evening. Value: We got what we paid for and don’t regret a penny. The design process was very smooth, every inch of space was considered, re-imagined and the perfect finishes were chosen. The craftsmanship was everything we hoped for and the team followed up with us until every detail was perfect. Trust: This comes down to good project management and communication. We have very much enjoyed working with the Saber team. They are one of the most highly organized companies I have ever dealt with. We highly recommend Saber Construction! "Saber Construction refused to send an itemized bill of what they were charging us for until we emailed several complaints. The office acted offended and rude at our questions. We paid over 9k for a small amount of drywall repair and a shower replacement. When we did receive the bill there were 3k of mistakes that took several months for them to fix. Other items they refused to adjust such as $500 for an axle dump truck ( there was never a dump truck at our house) $300 Personal Protection Masks ( no one ever wore a mask) other fees which person on phone refused to explain. She became angry and stated they were a “for profit” company. The shower that was installed leaked water everywhere. It took over 2 weeks for them to come back and fix it. We cancelled the rest of the work they were supposed to do. It took from November to May just to get the shower finished. The shower was a simple panel shower from Home Depot."
