"I am beyond blessed that I found Dr Martin to be my primary care physician! She not only did outstanding work helping me to deliver my baby, but she goes above and beyond to care for my whole family! I can’t imagine ever going to a different Dr again. If there was more than 5 stars, that’s what she deserves!"
"I am so grateful to have Dr. Martin as my primary care physician! I have had a lot of health issues over the years and it’s not always been a simple fix… but Dr. Martin has always been so supportive, patient, and caring and kept helping me get to the root of what’s going on when other doctors didn’t take my concerns seriously. Dr. Martin is very knowledgeable and approachable/collaborative both, and I am really grateful to have her on my healthcare team!"
"Their billing system is soo weird and does not work with my united health care insurance. My wife visited her once based on some suggestion from a friend last year and I am dealing with their bill till date. After so many hours of hassle with my insurance and the Dr's office, where both the insurance and the Dr would not let me know what is the "service" that my insurance cannot bill (in spite of Dr.Martin being listed on my insurance page's website, apparently the insurance only bills certain services from a Doctor and not billed to the facility and my insurance got out with that catch) But the worst is this office and the Dr, they have been trying to get the 200$ from me for the last 1 year and I finally ended up paying for it. The visit involved nothing but just talking about my wife's issues, there was no new diagnosis or medication , just a bunch of future test - which I was also not sure is going to be covered by insurance. It is quite clear what they really care about in this practice. Anyways, heads up for folks dependent on the insurance for payment, get a list of services going to be provided ahead of visiting this practice and make sure those are covered by your insurance. One of my worst medical experiences in the USA Edit: In response to the Dr below, you/your clinic should make this inconsistency very clear and give a list of services that the patient needs to confirm with their insurance OR let them be prepared to pay the cost upfront, if their insurance cannot cover it beforehand the actual visit - and make it very clear that if insurance fails it will be on us to pay "this exact" amount of money. I cannot understand why this has to be done post by "yourself" because I would expect this is common knowledge from an initial visit from your previous dataset of patients (I assume I am not first united health care patient for you as a first visit) When we walk in especially with a first intro/diagnostic visit without any actual procedures being done and just talking, we expect things to be usually covered as a general intro conversation and not have weird clauses with insurance that deny "specific services" from providers. I still cannot even think of what those "specific services " denied were, as we just basically talked for 20-30mins. None of the above was made clear, as someone who goes to a naturapathic treatment for the first time we did not expect this hassle at all, we were desperate and needed help, not another long winding hassle about money. Again like I said, we did not do the basic diagnostic tests because we were not sure if our insurance will cover it and the supplements you suggested were all off the counter medications which we were very doubtful off. Again it all falls back to us as we did NOT check this insurance issue beforehand especially when it was our first time visiting a non-traditional medicine practice here. Hence my review is a warning for folks like me who think we are walking into a practice, to trust their own homework for their insurance/payment plans and ask clear questions beforehand instead of trusting you or your practice for the payment plan for the treatment."
"Dr. Martin is an outstanding physician. I especially loved that my whole family could see her as our primary care. During both my pregnancies she took the time to make sure that I was doing well as a whole person and was a wealth of knowledge when it came to natural remedies. I had a rough time postpartum after my second birth, and she was extremely supportive and offered many helpful resources. I’ve never had a provider that shows the level of care and support that Dr. Martin has, she made me feel seen and heard. She is someone you have to have in your corner!"
"Our two children have been lucky to be patients of Dr. Martins for 3 years now. She also worked with me throughout my second pregnancy. We are very thankful to have her as our doctor. I am pretty picky about doctors for my children and I was immediately impressed with her. She is very knowledgeable and thoughtful. I feel very comfortable with her. We are so lucky to have her as our doctor."
