About the Business

The Western Oregon University Student Advising Center is located at 345 Monmouth Avenue North in Monmouth, Oregon. At WOU, students with declared majors are assigned a Major Advisor, while exploratory students and those on academic warning/probation/suspension are advised by the Student Success and Advising office. The center also advises pre-nursing students, new/incoming and transfer students, and those with questions about general education requirements. Students are encouraged to reach out with any advising questions and can schedule appointments with SSA advisors through the website. "I have had a wonderful ongoing experience with my healthcare at this facility as well as my mental health care. While they do offer counseling from interns that are not finished with their schooling, you can request more certified individuals to receive therapy from, and these individuals do an excellent job. They also offer Psychiatric consultation which is covered by OHP by a certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, named Tom, who does, again, an excellent job. I am very happy with the quality of care I experience at this facility."
