"Boy I don't even know where to begin! I had 4 of my babies in the hospital and after my 4th not being a good experience I wanted something more for my 5th baby. I called a few different places and Jackie was the only one who answered right away. We talk for quite some time on the phone. I prayed about it and we made our first appointment. Upon meeting i knew right away she was the one for the task of helping me birth my baby. Jackie and her team saved not only my life but my baby girls life with their medical training. After laboring for 14 hours we were all tired. I started bleeding a lot my water broke and my baby was stuck. Jackie was not at all afraid of getting dirty to help me get my baby out and get her breathing. Peyton was so amazing when my husband had to tend to our children she stepped right in and held me when I needed she gave me water or chapstick honestly anything I needed she didn't even bat an eye she was on top of it! Madison was also spot on with her help when we realized I was bleeding she took over with my baby and Jackie focused on getting me stable. It was so terrifying to say the least. But setting all that aside there isn't a single person I'd trust besides Jackie and her team! My family and I just adore her so much and are so thankful that God put her in our lives! I'd do it all over again! We love you Jackie, Peyton and Madison!!! I pray the most high continues to flourish anything and everything in your life! May he bless you and keep you!"

"A year ago, I made my first appointment with Jackie when I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. Little did I know what an important part of my life she would become! After having two typical hospital births, I was positive I wanted something different. Earthside Midwifery granted my wish beyond all expectations! Jackie is amazing, she is highly medically trained and knowledgeable about prenatal and postnatal care. No matter what issue came up throughout my time with her, she either knew what to do herself or she was proactively finding me a provider/testing/resource for whatever it was. She goes way above and beyond what is “required”. She absolutely pours herself into her moms and babies and somehow manages to make us all feel like we’re the only patient she has. The woman is unstoppable! 5 stars isn’t enough, I’d give more of I could! If you are on the fence about a midwife because you’ve worried about something medically going wrong, don’t. Jackie will always put your health and your babies health above everything, and she isn’t afraid to send you to the hospital if it’s needed! Jackie-you laughed with me, prayed with me, cried with me. Supported me in some of the ugliest and most beautiful moments of my life. You showed up for me when no one else did. I will forever be grateful for your friendship and the support you gave me during the time I was with you."

"Moving across the country and leaving my hometown I thought I would never be able to match the quality of care I had with my previous midwife. I was blessed with being completely wrong about that! Jackie doesn’t only have the warmth and open heart you desire as a pregnant mom but she has the knowledge and professionalism you so deeply need in such an important / sacred journey! We were met by constant neutral communication regarding our options, never felt rushed in any of our appointments or dismissed with any of our questions or concerns. We had an extremely long labor and her and her team were something out a superhero book. They stayed every step of the way, handled all the obstacles with upmost respect, professionalism, precaution and integrity! Forever grateful & will forever reccomend her."

"The level of care that Jackie and her team provides is so far above and beyond what I expected - and infinitely beyond anything anyone will ever get at a hospital. From beginning of pregnancy to well after birth she is an amazing resource, midwife, and just a kind human being. She wants everyone to have a successful, complication free pregnancy and offers a wealth of information on the best ways for a family to achieve it. From the start I appreciated Jackie’s science based approach to childbirth and how cautious she is. If there is something in the slightest that is of concern to her she will not take risks with mother or child. I also loved how she lets the mothers make their own decisions on many different matters, but provides tons of resources so they can make informed choices. Our monthly, then weekly meetings were helpful and reassuring to my wife and I as first time parents - and she was always prompt to respond to any questions we had when we weren’t meeting face to face. She also regularly checked in with us to see how things were going. Definitely outside the scope of a normal OB. She and team came to our home likely earlier than she needed to for the birth and kept an Eagle eye on mom and baby throughout the 24 hours they were with us. Always checking on the health of both. For my wife who could hardly utter a word during the entire magical event - Jackie and team inspired, nurtured, cared, and eventually delivered our first child at home where we wanted to be. At a hospital they send you on your way after birth with the promise of a checkup in 6 weeks. We are now 4 days postpartum- and not only did Jackie stay almost 3 hours after baby was born - she’s been by our house two more times to check in and educate. She is a lactation consultant and really saved us in the first few days and beyond. As first timers we had a plethora of silly fears about how are baby was doing that she calmed. And we get to see her again in a few days ;) Long winded and wordy but can’t thank Earthside enough! Natural childbirth isn’t for everyone, but I highly recommend to anyone having a baby to connect with Jackie - regardless of where you plan to have it. Can’t say thank you enough for the journey we went through together. Truly wonderful people!"
