"The retail experience I wish we always had when we show shop!!! Worker was friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty good and we found 2 pairs of hiking shoes! Usually it takes several stores because our youngest is picky about footwear. He found a pair he liked and I liked that we got both pairs for about $50! Excellent customer service."

"Big 5 is cool, good range of sports equipment and well stocked. They do need to flesh out their fishing dept a little as you can almost see the rogue river from the store. Would be a 5 if they focused on getting fishing gear that fits the local fisheries and more of it."

"The folks at Big 5 were very helpful and knowledgeable of the products they sell (this time walking shoes & hiking boots). Lots of weekly sales. Yes I compared there prices & selection to other local retailers and this was it. We had to order my walking shoes, they arrived in the time frame they said. That gave me time to break in the new boots. Lots of parking, easy to find. No public bathrooms. Super nice folks !!"
