"I hired Adam Elwood, license R6993. I hired him to help me with severe depression. I fired him after our third session. I made it clear to him how much trouble I was having. He flat out refused to help me in any way. He told me I had to constantly talk about my problems, even after I repeatedly explained that made things worse for me, and he then said I had to come up with my own solutions. He refused to provide any support, understanding or even empathy. As an example, when I told him I was having trouble being consistent with my medications because I was so terribly depressed, he smirked and said he obviously can't help me unless he came into my home and shoved them down my throat. He thought this was funny. I reported him to the licensing board. I have had a lot of therapists in my life. Adam Elwood was by far the most incompetent and damaging."
