"Our mail carrier knew we were home and knew we were waiting for a Xmas gift. She will honk for the neighbor who's a friend but left a tag in our box and now gift will have to wait till Tues. Not very good customer service if you ask me. Not to mention she's very rude"
"People at the post office are great....the automated phone sucks"
"One very early morning few months ago, all the drivers and employees came out to yell and honk horns to wake people sleeping in their vehicle. It was so rude and early"
"They removed the postal mail boxes that allowed you to drop off mail in your car, that is the most ridiculous decision. Apparently for safety, despite the fact that nobody ever recalls any significant accidents. Folks should just take their mail to Coos Bay until they decide to care about customers again. The regular clerks are great, this is a management decision that everyone disagrees with. UPDATE they did move some boxes down on 101 North that allows for driver side deposits, better than nothing or having 10 boxes by the office that all required a passenger to drop off mail."
"The postal workers are great. However, if for any reason you need to call the 800 number for assistance…be sure to have plenty of time on your hands and be prepared to repeat yourself to the automated system about 100times. The automated system is super awful and time consuming! Being able to speak to a real person would make the experience 100X better. The automated system would assume what I said even if I didn’t speak which would then waste even more time for it to repeat itself and for me to repeat myself over and over. I hope to not ever have to call them again and deal with that."
