"They use any excuse to not do their job. Won’t delivery a package I had paid extra to get quickly. On the slip they listed the reason as “car blocking driveway“. Isn’t that where cars are supposed to be? In the driveways? I’ve had my mail and packages delivered to my neighbors more than a dozen times, and when I go to pick up packages, they refused to walk to my door. They had them spread out in their building in several locations resulting in me having to go back three times in one day to finally get all the packages they wouldn’t walk to my door."
"It's beyond stupid that I'm forced to pay for a PO box and they won't deliver in town. Not to mention you have to pick up PO packages in person, and only during their business hours, so it's lost all convenience."
"Great customer service and she knows me and my box number without telling her, she is really good at her job and really nice"
"The only two times I’ve visited the Amity post office is in which the tracking for a package was incorrectly updated. The last situation, I had a valuable package that was left in the neighbors mailbox miles down the street, which was overflowing with mail as it hadn’t been checked in weeks. The delivery guy entirely had no idea where my package had been delivered and it was lost at that point. Today, I had a package $200+ that was scanned as arrived at the amity post office, on Saturday (the 13th) at almost 8am. When I went in to ask about picking up the package, I was asked countless times to repeat my address, and I showed the status update that it was delivered on Saturday. The employee then went off on arguing about how nothing was delivered on Saturday, which alarmed me because I don’t want to lose another package. When I mentioned I had issues before with lost packages, the employee commented, “yes, I remember you coming in before. I remember you and the trouble we had” (in an extremely rude tone). I understand USPS is disorganized and chaotic, but all I was trying to do was find a package, instead of getting rushed and yelled at out of the post office. All I asked was to possibly scan the package, in some way, to make sure it wasn’t lost again. Instead I got"
