"This place has gone down hill in the last 10 years. They won't deliver to our house now if the package won't fit in the mailbox. What's the since of ordering online if I have to drive to town all the time to pick up my packages. Then very, very, very often our mail that would fit in the mailbox is delivered to the wrong address. Not only does it get delivered to our neighbor instead of us, it gets delivered to a whole different house on a different street because our number matches another street number in Dallas. SMH. When our neighbor and I ask why they won't deliver to our house, we are given 3 different answers. smh. Number one was because the mail carrier doesn't want to drive up from the mail boxes to our house. Its like maybe 200 hundred yards further she has to drive. smh :( I'm beginning to think maybe we need to consider defunding the Post Office and turning it over to the private sector. Maybe they can do a better job and we will actually get out packages and mail."
"Worst U.S. Postal service office anywhere. I think they are just in need of some "friendly" customer service and/or start at the top and find someone professional & kind, and then hire folks like that. For the very most part, I rarely have a pleasant experience. Try smiling a little, if it is is fake. Oh and don't bother calling them because they will not answer the phone. It just hangs up eventually. You cannot leave a message."
"Will not deliver any packages that don’t fit into mail box and the reasoning is because I have a dog and there’s no place to turn around. I believe it’s actually because you have to go down a long drive way to get to my house. If they actually looked they would realize my dog isn’t outside all the time especially when we are expecting packages. Also there are plenty of places to turn around if you guys bothered to check. I’m 8 months pregnant and have to drive 15 minutes into town to pick up heavy items that should’ve been delivered."
"Get this - USPS received my package, but didn't load it onto the truck for delivery. Instead, they write out a "sorry we missed you" form to deliver instead. Seriously. They often leave those pink slips saying "sorry we missed you" even though I'm always here! Today I see the mailman come up and put the "missed you" slip through the door and I come out and say, "Hey! I'm here and I've been waiting for this package." The guy says they didn't even bother putting it on the truck!!! He said the reason they didn't put it on the truck was because, "I'm never here". I had to wake my baby up and drive down to pick it up myself, while hoping to return before the delivery of another package from FedEx (whom is reliable). I explained the situation to a lady working at the post office in hopes that this could stop happening and she seemed to get defensive about it - her attitude left me almost irritated with myself for not being more assertive about it at the time. I've had so many bad experiences with USPS here in Dallas. If each one of them was a bad review, this single 1-star review I'm posting would be more than ten 1-star reviews. Today was enough to inspire me to finally write one."
"Have had constant troubles since moving to Dallas both with P.O. Box and street address, not to mention customer service. Mail that is opened/ damaged, passive aggressive customer service, packages arrived and "redirected" back to sender on the same day with all the right info or held for a day or two and labeled "no pick up" and not informed it even arrived, lack of willingness to help, hardly ever answer the phone in the handful of times I've tried to call to ask about a package that wasn't received."
