"The Epic system used by Women's Wellness has made it nearly impossible to schedule, get records or correct the errors in records. Dr. B was working from erroneous records during my wellness exam and her decisions based on incorrect records, provided by Epic, caused me to incur unnecessary costs and tests. I have been unable to obtain copies of my records or correct errors in my records and my health care has been compromised by the Epic system now used by Women's Health Care. Epic used the misinformation Epic provided to my doctor to hijack my yearly medicare wellness visit and extract payments from me for unnecessary tests. Epic is not acting in the interests of the patient and is manipulating medicare to extort money from patients for unnecessary tests. I feel so sorry for Dr. B & the staff at Women's Health Care who must feel like they have fallen down the rabbit hole. No wonder they can't keep competent staff! What kind of moral compass would you have that would allow you to participate in extorting the young, sick and elderly for Epic's financial gain? I will not be returning to Women's Wellness unless they start acting in the best interests of their patients instead of serving the financial interests of EPIC."
