"I had an excellent shotgun handling and skeet shooting lesson with Kim. She is very knowledgeable (multiple excellent certifications) yet very patient and kind with me as a newbie. Mid Valley Clay has a large shooting range with multiple shooting stations made from old shipping containers. They also have a wide assortment of rental shotguns. Kim took the time to let me check out multiple shotguns, fit me with the best shotgun for me, and then site the gun to fit me. Finally, I was amazed that, with her instruction, I was actually hitting the clays reliably. She also show me how to use my own "home protection" shotgun safely and effectively. I highly recommend Kim as an instructor. And, if you want to learn to shoot skeet and/or try several shotguns before purchasing one, Mid Valley Clay is an excellent option."
"I'd been meaning to visit for literally years and finally did. I've been missing out! I booked a "Buddy Lesson" with Vandy for my first time shooters, wife and daughter. Vandy was incredibly thorough from the shotgun selection to safety and sparked a new hobby to do as a family. The facility is top notch and more than covers all the disciplines, gear, and instruction. Top notch facility for sure. Thanks Mid-Valley!"
"Kim is an AWESOME instructor. First timers and had a great time and would go back. Great spot!"
"This was such a fun activity for my bachelor party! We did the sporting clays - they had everything ready for us to go: a rental shotgun, ammo, and safety equipment. The lady in front was super nice and got us out to the range and shooting quickly. The sporting clay range was super nice, easy to run through by ourselves, we got to take our time going through it, and just had a lot of fun with all the various stations of clay targets."
"Beautiful day out. First and last sunny day in two weeks. Great time had by us all who had met there for some sporting clays and for some fun practice. Most of us are military veterans and like this kind of sport and camaraderie. The owners of the Shooting School are very nice and helpful to those of us who were visiting for the first time. Saturday means a discount for ladies. Woohoo! I was happy to take advantage of that and hubby was happy we rented a cart to get around since his knee can go out at any time. Weather was great so We played the whole course, 13 stations with 100 clays. We were having fun at every stage of the game. We all brought a picnic to visit at the tables after we were done. We enjoyed meeting David and wife, Vandy, who is military grade shooting coach and offers lessons. She is ready to help new people understand safety and the techniques necessary to have a winning time. Such a grand time, we teased that we had gone to Diz-knee Land! Especially since the little electric cart turned out to be so fun; helping us to get around the mile or so course. Quite a big deal for us old codgers. We're glad we went, but don't want the place to start being so full we can't go there and enjoy our sport."
