"If I would have know the things I do now, before I started, I would have never gone to this school. Most of the teacher are disorganized, unprepared, and not ready to teach. They are frantic and half time it seems like they don’t know what they are doing. You have teacher that grade to the extreme and teacher that are fair when it come to grading. They are unwilling to work with students if it doesn’t fit into there needs. But the moment it does fit there needs, they will bend the rules, and even change the contract you sign without notice. They can not give you a itinerary for your whole program. They will change things by term and without notice. The DNS will yell at students and half the time doesn’t answer emails for days on end, unless you mark it as important. There are teacher that tell you to cut the foley out a client that has passed because they are dead it’s fine. Which it is not fine! They also will call you a liar and put it in you record that your work is questionable. They make you feel incompetent most of the time (but you are student so you aren’t going to know everything.) they talk to you and treat you like you are children, instead of adults. I paid completely out of pocket for my Schooling and feel like I didn’t learn much from this school. If I didn’t have the history I had in the medical field I would feel extremely unprepared for the medical field. Take your money else where I would not recommend going there at all. I could honestly go on and on about this school. They also tell you on the regular we are professional and we need to be held to hire standard. But then they will at unprofessional and when you mention it they do not like that at all."
"Teachers and administration are VERY disorganized. They expect the world of the students with no wiggle room, but can bend the rules only when it suits them. It’s also a VERY expensive LPN program. I payed 32,000 dollars. There is only one or two good teachers, the rest are confused most of the time and provide sub par instruction. The ONLY good thing about this school is the fact there was an option to do most of it from home, and it was a very quick program."
"When I first enrolled at IOT I quickly learned that I just was not ready for school. I would not show up to class and would not turn in my assignments. I ultimately dropped out. Years later after having my first child I wanted to be able to have a career where I could always support her so I re-enrolled in the program. I was required to submit an essay explaining why I should be accepted back into the school. I am so glad that David made the decision to allow me to come back once more. I passed with A's and B's and now have an amazing job that I absolutely love. I am so thankful for the staff for their encouragement and support through my journey."
"I loved going to school here! The teachers were fantastic and the class size was perfect! The administration staff was second to none! Overall I had a wonderful experience and I was provided with all of the knowledge I needed to pass the national certification test for Medical Assistant. I have zero complaints. If you're looking to go to school to become a Medical Assistant or LPN then this is the one for you."
"I get I have had issues with my FA and their new FA person , I have been here going into my 5 mod and they still don’t have it approved. They literally have me in their office weekly starting In late September she has made me to amended my tax return 5 times which is almost 100 bucks each time & she always seems to contact me on days I have class or testing days I wish these credits were transferable so I could just go to school that actually cares ! But they expect me not to get upset when I do nothing but get the run around ! They think I need to be fine with them giving me the run around daily"
