"I went to this school for my junior and senior year and it was great! Compared to the other private schools I’ve been to this one by far had some of the best quality programs. What also makes this school unique is that you don’t have to go full time! You can pick and choose which classes you like. Quite a few people who went here just went for band and P.E. For a few hours twice a week. Some even came because they just needed a good math teacher. These classes were great and here’s why. Never have I been worked to the best of my physical ability than I have here. Great P.E. Program. It is very diverse in that there are multiple different activities we do throughout the year from swimming at Willamalane to running on some of the great trails in Springfield and Eugene. Band is also of great quality as there is more focus on each student’s individual performance. There are a variety of instruments students can lend out for the year if you don’t have one. Also the band in the past has also won state quite a few times. Math is also great as the teacher who has taught it has been doing it well for over 30 years. He explains things well and even leaves Friday open for questions on concepts they need help with. He also does some side projects during the year involving modeling software basics and building projects for the upper high school students. Another great class that I decided to take was creation science. This class provides facts and knowledge on creation. It is a great class to help refresh the minds of those who have been taught evolution in the public school system as it explains how old dinosaurs really are and uncovers the myths of evolution. Even if your not a creationists it’s a great class to take as it brings to the table real world facts and evidence that you may not of heard of. Also this class is optional but I’d still highly recommend it. These are just some major highlights of what I experienced there. If you are looking for a great small private school even for just a few things like P.E. and band, I personally think this is a great one to look into."
