"I mean, what options do you really have if you are considering? Most of the profs are good. Had a kooky one that didn't give me credit for work, probably should have gone to the dean with assignment submission evidence."
"Linn Benton Community College is a good place to start on your post high school education. As a student here myself, I am enjoying learning Machining. If I were still in the workforce this class could lead to a job in the trades. I have also taken courses in subjects that could lead to a four year degree. However you want to learn or enhance a hobby like myself, LBCC may be a good choice for you."
"Financial aid has been horrible to work with. Initially went into the office and was told my financial aid would be dispursed within a week and everything was ready to go. Nope. Had to file 2 petitions even though I've never used financial aid before, which was never explained to me. Now I owe about 3k out of my own pocket just this term even though I was told everything was covered by my financial aid, several times. Should have read the reviews."
"Never have I ever had a school give me so much trouble getting academic accommodations. The school is probably fine if you don't have a disability. But if you do, good luck buddy. I've been to a lot of schools, and they usually accept proof of diagnosis as enough documentation to just start the process...wish me luck this term. I'm going to keep trying to submit documents and hopefully they will give me what I need but it's feeling hopeless. They are really slow to reply too, so after I submit a document I don't know for days if it's enough, making the process even slower!! I'm really worried I will get bad grades this term just because of my disability and not getting accommodations."
"All my teachers so far have been awesome. The school has great programs in a convenient location. I found out how friendly my classmates were the very first day. The bus system is amazing, I don't need to drive anywhere, even though there may be wait times for the buses. The website has also had a very recent improvement, making it much easier to navigate."
