"Update 12/2/23: This update is long overdue. After submitting my 1-star review, the owner reached out to me and was really caring about what had happened. She worked to make things right and we stayed on for a few months. Ultimately, it didn’t work out for us in the end since my son was not a fan of their class structure, but it was really nice having him bring home those lovely art pieces. - - - - - - - - - - - - - I had paid for Jan. classes back in mid-Dec. for weekly Friday classes. They were quick to charge my debit card. However, when I showed up for the first day of class, the New Manager, Kelly, tells me that they don’t have my son signed up for that class and there’s “no room in the class for him to stay”. She confirmed that she did in fact see my payment in the system, but not assigned to any specific class because Casey, the former manager, did not assign me to a class even though she told me that I was paying for the Friday class. Ultimately, I decided to not stay with Drawn2Art because I found it ridiculous that they wanted us, the people showing up on time to take the class that they paid for, instead of telling one of the make-up parents that the class is full and to have them reschedule. And no, being in transition into the role is not a valid excuse, especially when you see a payment from us in the system with no assigned class. The manager should have followed up with this at the beginning of the week to ensure that the customer is assigned to a class, and not wait until they show up for class the day of with a you’re SOL demeanor."
"We send our son to Drawn2Art in Lake Oswego for Saturday class, the teachers are so great, attentive, and friendly. Casey and all the teachers there know how to work with every kid and bring out their talent. Our son loves going there every week. He has improved leaps and bounds in a short period of time, family and friends and even his school teachers are praising his drawing skill. Highly recommend to all families!"
"Excellent program and awesome camps - the instructors are great!"
"My son started at Drawn2Art a few weeks ago. He has loved it from the start and looks forward to class each week. I have seen him grow in his ability to have patience with a project from start to finish as well as have the confidence to create something from scratch. Teacher Casey makes each class fun and new !!! I would highly recommend for kids of any age."
