"My son has been going to Art World School for 2 years since he was a kindergartener. He attended summer camp, after school program and group classes. I like that the school teachers not only teach the kids techniques, but also tried best to inspire their creativity by allowing kids to choose what they would like to create. I also like that they teach art in different media. In addition to fine art, my kid benefited a lot from classes like 3D, craft, pottery, and digital art. Director Ms Yan also tried her best to connect the kids to the local community and the national art competitions so kids get a lot of opportunities to participate in art events. Most importantly, the amazing teachers there showed their passion to art education and caring to the kids."

"We (my friend and booked our kids together) booked originally for a special event a year ago. They ended up changing the date (I can't recall why [as you can see below in their response, the date for the added class didn't work for us]) and my friend and I couldn't make the new date. They offered a credit, but not a refund (I must've called because I don't have email to corroborate the response. It's not like me to carry a credit); good for just under 2 years (corrected). We booked a 90 min class today and the kids were excited. They came away with a fun piece of art, but they mentioned that the teacher was shaming the younger kids because 'I told you to take out crayons' and continued with other comments and a tone that they didn't feel were very kind. Our kids are 11. The assistant teacher, Yuki (I think), was great with the kids, they said. What a bummer that this wasn't more of a pleasant experience for them. We were considering additional classes, but this exp. has soured the kids. Both kids came away saying the same thing, so it's baffling that the events are contradicted in the response."
