"I totally forgot to give these guys a review when I sold my 8 string Ibanez with their help they got me almost as much as I paid for the guitar nearly a decade before I sold it, plus they actually had some good selections for instruments and amplifiers which in our area is amazing. The bottom line good shop , good selection, great staff."

"an unfortunate reality of guitar repair and guitar shops is that many of them are just old heads who only care to treat other old heads nicely. I don’t know why old men want to gate keep guitar playing so bad, I’ve had two bad experiences here, I’m tired of guitar shops/ repair shops being the most toxic places for guitar players to be. Do better and be nicer, I’m sure you can. Although I will say there was a cute dog."

"This is by far the best music and guitar store that my husband and I have been to! Doug and Carrie are both so kind and are super helpful. My husband has played guitar for several years now and is currently starting to learn more about luthiery; we've visited Music 101 twice in the past few months and have had some really nice conversations with Doug and Carrie about music, guitars, and luthiery / electronics and amp set ups and have learned a lot from them. Their guitar selection is fantastic, there are some really unique guitars that have really good intonation and resonance. We're looking forward to our next visit and to taking some of your lessons / clinics soon!"

"So I called on the phone and asked if my line six amp could be repaired a simple input jack repair and the women said im sure that could be fixed as long as it's not a circuit board fix. And the owner in the background yells hell no and she says sorry completely embarrassed I guess no we can't. Absolutely not professional on the owners behalf these guys are not on the up and up. If I could rate zero on how disrespectful he to her and me I would the vibe of anger he gave off wasn't cool"

"I would like to support this shop but their customer service was terrible. They were dismissive, unfriendly, and have inflated costs on consignment items. Don't expect to be able to negotiate for fair market value without receiving kick back and exhausted retorts from them. Was told that a two year old used guitar was as expensive as a brand new one because it was "broken in." Had they been friendy, fair, and reasonable I would've been glad to support this local shop. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day."
