"Dave is an excellent Attorney. He took my case after others had made a mess of it and got it right. He is honest, fair and very easy to work with."
"Rude after setting appointment two weeks prior. Would not honor free consultation as stated in their website ad. After driving to their location at set appointment time they would not honor their ad or when I offered to pay in cash their requested amount Mr Hobson refused to talk to me let alone represent me in a legal matter. PS my son is a lawyer in another city and would never disrespect someone like this firm did!"
"David and his staff are highly unethical and irresponsible. He literally told me via email to commit contempt, didn’t help with my custody and parenting time case and dumped me after a year and nearly $10,000 why I called him out on his ethics. He wouldn’t even discuss it. He is not a nice man. He is a psychopath who acts like a nice man. He will manipulate based on what he feels is right not what is right. He was president of NAMI and is likely mentally ill himself. Do not trust this man."
"Did not detail any financials, IE never even made my ex provide anything that she did not want to. David kept telling me we could go back at anytime to capture non disclosed money’s she may have. Ended up giving ex over 60% of accumulated assets, a huge alimony payment of 2800 a month and almost two years to get there? Recently after almost 4 years of payments, found my financial situation change. I contacted David and he accepted my case to Re adjust child support and Alimony. Ended up with no alimony as state guidelines dictate based on income. Even though my income was now a lot less than my ex, I ended up paying 250 more in child support! I asked him at this time to Persue the non disclosed assets he had referred to all along my dicission process . Only to have him tell me it’s now Not Worth it and wouldn’t help with that. David is a great guy, but I feel he is way to busy and he certainly did a terrible job protesting my asserts! I have consulted other attorneys recently to see what my options are, and currently have non! The recommendations by two attorneys I met with was to sue Hobson, but I can’t as statute of limitations expired. Thanks to the lack of his follow through during discovery cost me at least 200K A very expensive lesson! If you want to just roll over and give your ex everything she asks for , David is your man! If you want what’s fair and reasonable accordingly to the law, I would not recommend his services."
"After 3 months my brother was getting nowhere with his current lawyer and child custody battle. I referred him to David Hobson based on a referral from a friend who also went through a similar situation. Long story short, David was a able to mediate and close the child custody case in about 4 weeks after being retained. Life is back to normal now and my brother is spending time with his kids again."
