In a total of a three minute call I was accused or arguing and not liking what she had to say. I’ve never been talked to so rudely. I ended the call and contacted someone else who was happy to answer my questions."

"(tl;dr: rude, poor triage skills, probably won't help you without a healthy whiff of money in the air.) I have a permanent disability. I was denied for benefits in 2013, appealed and received them in 2014, then lost them as I surpassed the earning cap in 2017. I've been out of work since covid hit until picking up a job two months ago. This dispensary requires all employees complete a probationary period on the retail side; I should be finding out about the IT position I applied for next month! Two weeks ago I felt I had no choice but to disclose my disability to my employer. I received no response to my request for ADA accommodations until last Friday, when I received a workplace injury attributed to my disability. My first call to Sara was from the headset I need to use. The connection wasn't great, so I couldn't tell if Sara's clear frustration was from the poor connection or from the knowledge it was a consultation call (which I assume generally don't produce revenue). After moving somewhere I could prop my phone up to my head, I called her direct and got a better connection. She immediately took control of the conversation (reduce time on non-revenue generating activities?) and began asking me questions. Here's my best recollection of our conversation: S: Have you applied for Disability before: yes or no? M: Yes. S: When did you apply. M: 2013. S: *sigh, pause* Did you appeal? M: Yes, and I received them until 2017, when I surpassed the earning cap. S: *sigh, long pause* Why are you calling? M: I've recently started working elsewhere and requested ADA accommodations that have since been ignored. Last Friday I received a workplace injury specifically attributable to my disability. S: What is your disability? M: *pause* Do you remember the Jerry's Kids Labor Day telethons? S: (yelling) I asked you what your - M: Muscular Dystrophy. S: ...muscular... M: ...dystrophy. S: How old are you? M: *redacted* S: What is the work you are trying to do? M: *pause* Can you please clarify the question? S: (yelling) I'm trying to find out what you want, but you don't seem to want to answer my questions! M: Excuse me, ma'am, but I've answered every question you've asked quickly, clearly, and concisely. Maybe I should look elsewhere, because you don't seem to want to work with me and I don't know why you keep yelling at me. S: *sigh* What is the work you are trying to do? M: I am trying to work in IT, but I don't think that's the question you are asking. Do you want to know my job title at the time of injury or the duties I was carrying out? S: Yes! Yes. M: What? My job title or what I was doing? S: Yes! Your job title. M: Budtender. S: What? M: B-U-D-T-E-N-D-E-R. S: Budtender? What's that? M: I work at a dispensary. S: Bud tender? So you tend to buds? Are you working on a farm? M: No, ma'am, I work in retail. S: *pause* I'm sorry, but you need to look elsewhere, because I don't think we're going to be a good fit. M: Thank you (hangs up) You may be of a mind to consider that her rough personality may be a boon in court against certain judges, so that's why I'm giving her two stars instead of one. I called for help with a legal matter that's a huge source of stress for me right now. Instead of the help I was looking for, Sara gave me a whole new heaping of anxiety, and obligated time I could be using handling my workplace injury to instead be used writing this review, warning others away from her bad behaviour.
