"I would advise any parent to stay far away from Tiffany Davidson. She was a court-appointed attorney for my two children, in the midst of a two extremely difficult custody cases. In the course of her work, she fiercely advocated for my daughter to remain in full custody of her father, who has a founded child abuse charge on his record. In my first case dealing with Ms. Davidson, I shared with her domestic violence incidents perpetrated by my ex-husband, and she completely dismissed them and never took any notes. During the second custody case, which was triggered by Child Protection Services pulling my children from their fathers home due to imminent danger, when I again tried to express my concern regarding their father’s domestic violence in the past further raising my concern regarding further potential for abuse, Ms. Davidson again completely dismissed my concerns, and had the audacity to engage in victim blaming that the matter had not come up in the past, which was untrue and only related to her poor listening skills, note taking, and basic concern. My daughter did indeed wind up in primary custody of her abusive father. Now a few years past, she is looking unlikely to graduate on time for high school, engages in unmonitored substance use, has had runaway instances, and has received no effective guidance or support to maintain a relationship with this side of the family, including a little sister. Her dad does not support parenting plan compliance, and we have been unable to see her for 6 months now. In speaking with other attorneys during my dealings, I heard consistent feedback that once Ms. Davidson fixes her mind on one idea, she is not likely to let it go, despite any compelling evidence to the contrary. My perception is that she is deeply rooted in first-wave feminism, and holds little to no compassion for mother-child bonds or the complexities of being a working single mother. Obviously it is deeply scary to share such personal experiences on the internet, but I feel motivated by a deep hope that no one else has their family as damaged as mine has become due in great part to her poor work."
