"My daughter went to this school from 2nd grade until 5th and she loved it. They were welcoming from the start and the school feels like a small community it's truly amazing. And the teachers and staff that greet the kids in the morning know each kids name! Also the front desk staff in the office are so sweet you can feel their compassion and love for the children just by having a few conversations with them. A wonderful school that my daughter and I will never forget and always miss!"

"I am Nate's Mom, I have lived just a few blocks from Wooodnere sense 1975. I, my older son, and also my youngest son Nate also attended Wooodnere. In 2011 my son was struggling. Mind you, Nate has attended one year of head start, kindergarten,first and now would be in second grade. He has been on a IEP the entire time. Even though with everyone working hard. Nate was not moving forward. They tried some axing things with little success. By end of year the team without my consent agreed Nate needed more help then they could offer. I was affended, pissed, and sad I couldn't fix this for him. Even though I wasn't ready the team knew this was best for my son. Today, I am thankful. An would love to say THANK YOU EVERYONE. NATE HAS NOW ENTERED THE 9TH GRADE. HE GRADUATED 8TH GRADE ON HONOR ROLL AND DOING WELL. I AM SUPER PROUD OF MY SON. ITS BEEN A LONG ROAD BUT THE KID IS A GREAT FABULOUSLY SMART young man.
