"Each of my kids attended Woodhaven for two years, so we have been a Woodhaven family for four years now. This has been a wonderful place for them to grow and learn. The teachers are fantastic and are so loved by my children (My daughter wants to be a teacher alongside Teacher Er. My kids keep surprising me by bringing home new skills and information like how to make bread, the cycle of the trees in the forest, knowing left from right, and the physical skills they have developed by jumping, climbing and running around in the forest. My youngest will be moving on to kindergarten next year and we will miss Woodhaven so much!"

"I couldn't have dreamed up a better environment for my sweet, wild son to thrive in. The classroom invites you in and feels like home. The teachers, Erica and Jeannie, radiate warmth and genuine love for the children. The school day flows with a simple rhythm that helps the children easily move through each activity. And the best part? Woodhaven School has its very own forest. Every day, rain or shine, the children get to play in the forest for half the day. Knowing my son get's to run wild and free under the trees makes me so incredibly happy. Early childhood should be about play and discovery and connecting with nature. Woodhaven provides my son with all of these."

"Our son is in his first year of preschool (age 3, enrolled in the Rosebud class), and we feel like we hit the jackpot finding WoodHaven! It is such a wonderful school, and the teachers (Erica & Katrina) are such incredible, kind women! They truly have the childrens' best interest in mind, and seem to genuinely care about creating a safe, comfortable, happy environment for the kids. With WoodHaven being a co-op, I was nervous about what would be required as far as volunteering, or fundraising, but the requirement is completely fair and realistic. WoodHaven provides great communication between the teachers and families, and it feels like such a strong community, that I am so excited to be a part of! We look forward to continuing our son's preschool years through WoodHaven, as well as our younger daughter in the years to come!"

"This is our first year at Woodhaven and so far we love it! This Waldorf inspired outdoor preschool is so perfect for our adventurous son. Our four year old is falling in love with the style of schooling they offer, he is currently in the younger class called Rosebuds. He comes home singing the songs, telling the stories and they even get to bake bread. In Oregon with the rain it often feels inconvenient to go outside, but at Woodhaven that is never the case. They encourage the kids daily to get outside in all types of weather to play! As a cooperative style school, Woodhaven feels like a small community. It is easy and important to talk with other parents and teachers, not only make sure the school is running smoothly for the children, but to also form bonds with other families so the children can have amazing social connections. We are very excited for our future at Woodhaven school!"

"We have been part of the Woodhaven community for 4 years. My son started out in the Rosebuds class and transitioned through all the grade levels over the years. This year my younger son was old enough to start in the Rosebuds (3's class) program, he was very excited to follow in his big brother's footsteps. It has been magical to watch my kids thrive in the Woodhaven environment; from building eagle nests to searching for signs of fairies in the woods.
