"I signed up for my homeowners insurance through Mike Goodells office in LO. I filed my first claim, and it has been an absolute nightmare. We had a leak occur under my shower and it went into the first floor below. We have been displaced from our home since January 24 and American Family Insurance did not even send out an adjuster until February 19. I am a single mom with two children, and I am going through medical treatment for cancer. I am now facing the reality that I am more than likely going to be homeless with my two children, because our home is uninhabitable due to the damage it sustained and all the AFI delays. I haven’t even received a check yet to repair the damage and they have closed out my case. I attempted to reach out to Mr. Goodell’s office for support or information on how I could connect with someone who will actually help me and Stephen from Mike’s office in LO told me that I should reach out to a family member or a friend for a credit card. I was shocked and appalled at the way I was treated by the members at this LO branch and by the way I’m being treated by AFI corporate. I am writing this review and hoping that someone will see this and think twice before signing up with this agency. They will take your money, but when you call for support, they’re going to tell you to kick rocks. Sonia Borgelt"
