"Im a delivery driver for a well known company that has orange and purple font and these apartments are true poverty"
"Rarely a waste of time once I've decided to make a pit-stop here. Friendly people and fun atmosphere for the weary souls among us."
"As a mentally disabled person who is considered high risk, I was placed here under a grant program and told this was a safe place to live. A man was just shot dead by police right outside my apartment today. Then, because I have chosen to report noise coming from both sides every night to the manager, and those people ignored EVERY warning, I am now being targeted by hate from the criminal 'community' here and screamed at and called "snitch" publicly when leaving or returning to my apartment. "Snitches wind up in ditches" THEY say, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up dead if someone can't help me find an actual safe place to live, instead of what the state of Oregon has provided for me."
"First of all the place called Ash Street Courtyard has no courtyard. It is advertised as having a community room (among a bunch of other non-existent amenities listed on some websites). There is no community room. Apparently the leasing office is supposed to double as a community room, problem is, it is rarely open and there is nothing "community" about the room, it is just an office. The complex has been under new management since the end of last year and they don't seem to know what they're doing. They replaced the strip between the sidewalk and street with gravel which washed away every time it rained or just got kicked around because it is where people walk to cross the street or get into their cars so they then decided to replace it with artificial turf that looks really artificial and you can even see the threads that are supposed to hold it in place coming out. After about 6 months they finally put up some fencing to keep the drug addicts out of certain areas of the property (there are a LOT of meth addicts, etc. that congregate at the complex every day). The area is filled with crime with this particular complex seemingly being the place for all the sketchy types to meet up/hang out all day every day. In the summer I have counted more than a dozen non-tenants hanging outside sometimes starting as early as 4 or 5 in the morning. It appears that some of the tenants are associates of the drug users that make the complex their hangout spot. One time I walked in on a naked man scavenging through the dumpster in the trash room like a wild animal. I have heard that some of the tweakers even set up their own "apartment" in the trash room. There have been a number of drive-by's in the neighborhood with one right in front of the complex in the middle of the day. I would go on about how the rent is too high (it is) but that's normal these days, the only reason to mention it is you're probably better off finding another, better, safer, place for that same amount of rent. Oh, and the free wi-fi sucks. The signal strength is weak and you'll likely be unable to actually do anything anyways because there is often a message that it is blocked because of illegal downloading. Walls are also really thin. I can hear my neighbors talking through them. And I can hear everything going on outside as if my windows were open. (It is a very loud and busy neighborhood with all the tweakers and what not.)"
"Tweakers everywhere my friend lives here she can't have guests they run this place like a low security prison even prisons get visitation . some of these tweakers broke into her apartment and stole my 65 inch flat screen tv and their ps3 this place is horrible they have cameras but the cameras don't WORK the manager is rude and tbh quite obnoxious the tenants are nosy and have tried to steal my friends pets even as far as calling aspca and fraudulently reporting for animal abuse . the area is run down and ghetto if you want to step on a meth pipe or needle just step outside your door all in all this place is crap"
