"I haven’t even lived here for a year and I am constantly considering breaking my lease. It’s incredibly expensive for what has been nothing but frustration. You pay for all utilities on top of your rent, and yet I have had countless maintenance issues, whether that be things breaking in my apartment or in community spaces. Not long after moving in I woke up at 4am to the smell of smoke so strong it woke me up. I haven’t had a working ceiling fan since I moved in, despite them saying they’re going to replace it. The elevator has broken. Garbage is picked up at your door and it wasn’t picked up for over a week with no explanation, and just countless other small issues in and outside the apartment. Also be prepared for your packages to get stolen. Despite the package lockers, 90% of delivery drivers don’t use them and what I’m pretty sure is my neighbors, they will steal your things. Management is unresponsive and I’ve overall had a terrible time living here. Choose someplace else."
"Honestly, this place is not well managed. If you aren’t ready for brutal summers, stay away. The windows are so awful that you CANNOT use a portable AC with them. They do provide a wall outlet but those have a problem too… 1) The AC ports are 3 inches in the wall. Most if not all portable ACs are 5+ inch hoses. 2) there is only 1 port, so you’re required to use an extremely inefficient AC instead of a 2 hose one. 3) They claim AC included, but in reality they have a limited number and guess what! Everyone needs one. So they don’t actually provide that either. So get ready to spend money! You need a portable AC which is already inefficient, you need to magically find one that’s 3 inches, or use a 5/6 inch —> 3 inch converter, losing more efficiency, and finally only 1 hose. Then there is little to 0 bike storage. Like maybe enough room for 4-5 bikes. Then there is constant mail and package theft. Just choose somewhere else."
"Well designed apartment with a small amount of space. Gas stoves are def a plus! It is a secure building and the neighbors are respectful. However, there is limited bike storage for the building, no AC, no screens on windows, and slow response from the landlord. We emailed months ago about the screen and again a few weeks ago and still no response. In 95 degree heat it’s difficult to decide between cool air and bugs."
"No parking , everything gets dirty fast with the cabinets and counters they chose to use for the complex. Outrageous pricing for small area and small amount of amenities. No screens on windows , easy access for flies and bugs. Landlord takes her time when you need help. No air condition. Amongst other things. Was locked out my apartment because of the maintenance people who locked our door and when needed to get key back in I had to wait 3-4 hours."
"The house built by investors, for investors. Not a good neighbor. This latest Division Street monolith blocks the sun and the moon from those who are forced to live in its shadow and light pollution. Here’s my theory: be 33% less annoying by turning off the lights in the vacant apartments."
