"The landlord who lives on the property is difficult to deal with. She makes living here really inconvenient. She’s regularly sending texts, emails, or giving out paper notices about the many rules here. The rules are often arbitrary and enforced unfairly. She’s had tenants and visitors towed from the lot multiple times.. Many people who live here and their visitors choose to park elsewhere and walk into the complex. There are assigned parking spots (we get notified if we don’t park in ours or within the lines) but the paint is so faded some spots have no lines at all. She’s been hostile to my visitors, just unnecessarily rude and unkind. She butts in on tenant’s personal lives and is just generally unpleasant once you sign your lease. There’s obvious wood rot on many staircases leading to front doors, with rusty nails sticking out. It’s clearly unsafe. There’s over-involvement in our day to day lives and not enough involvement in making this a safe, enjoyable place to live. If you want to get notified every time one of your neighbors does something like: leaves an ashtray out, doesn’t properly recycle something, leaves laundry in the washer too long, doesn’t pick up their dog’s poop, parks outside the lines, or has an “unapproved” item on their own patio, or enters their own apartment from their own back door, then this is the place for you!"
