"Company doesn't follow fair housing act. Constantly harassed by an on-site manager at one of the properties. Ladies at the main office are nice but never know how to answer your questions. Bump rent due to "being too expensive to manage" yet apartments still have old aluminum windows which attract mold, laundry rooms are closed down but only okay for managers to use. Most apartments still have carpet and units aren't really fixed up before you move in (stains in drawers/bathroom/walls, etc...) The rental company themselves are understanding when it comes to paying late fees which is nice but this company needs to find new property managers or do a walkthrough of their properties and learn the fair housing act before lawsuits start to happen. No wonder every time you mention to another rental company that you rent through Cascade they go "oh... sorry""
"This is the absolute worst management company ever!! I was harassed until I was forced to move with the threat of an eviction for things I didn't even do! Angela at Madras Apartments is literally the worst! It's not even just me, as I've talked to many other companies along my journey to finding a new home I've discovered other managers will do dang near anything to not have to contact her!! Add to that that my refrigerator was broken for almost 2 weeks without repair and I had to keep my childs and my food in coolers! Just horrible place and horrible management!"
"I have been renting my apartment going on three years now. I always pay two weeks to a month in advance for my rent. I just wanted to write a review for Susan the manager at centennial park apartments in Springfield and hands down she is a great manager she is on top of everything she definitely deserves some appreciation and a raise if you ask me. good employees are hard to come by. Thank you Susan for trying to keep are apartments clean and looking nice."
"I rented a house from the for about 4 years. Never had any issues from management, whenever I submitted requests, normally the garage door, they always responded, yeah it may have taken a week or so, but you do know they have other work to do and just because you pay rent, that doesn't make you special. Emergency request were always taken care of immediately. Rent prices went up, just like everywhere else you live, that's what happens when you rent. Its called inflation. You want more money for what you do at work, of course the owner needs to make more to pay you more. The move out costs are very reasonable, just like any company, you damage something like carpet, counters, blinds, drywall. Well your going to have to pay for it. Common sense. Take pictures when you move in. Make sure you document everything. 99% of people love to make the excuse. "It was like that when I moved in.", Of course it was, that's why you didn't take pictures or mark it down...isn't it? If you damage something expect to pay for it, plain and simple, This management company is ran by people doing there jobs, they are nice and very professional, stop shaming or crying because you didn't get something your way. I would definitely rent from them again. AND no I am not an employee, I was just a responsible renter, and took care of my place."
"Very reasonably priced basic apartments, a lot of places gouge you for rent nowadays. I lived at Iris Meadows in Keizer, OR. Everything was great until I moved out and received my deposit refund less about $150. They had charged me $60 for cleaning and $75 for carpet cleaning. I consider myself a very clean person and feel that I left the place cleaner than when I arrived. After calling and discussing with the business office they confirmed the cleaners billed them for 4 hours and they gave me a discount, however, they graciously waved this for me when I called and complained. As far as the carpet cleaning is concerned I was confused since I didnt leave any stains. The business office explained that if you live there less than one year they do not waive the carpet shampooing cost (they shampoo carpet between each tenant), they also explained where to find this clause in my security deposit paperwork I signed. This was of course my bad for not reading the fine print. All in all I believe it was a good experience and they treated me fairly when I called with questions regarding my security deposit refund. I would rent from this company in the future if I ever needed to."
