"Lived there for a year, and the amenities were not well taken care. One of the selling points was the gym, but not enough equipment for it to be considered gym. Dog "park" is more of a dog run, and was in extremely poor condition the whole year we lived there. Charged a ridiculous cleaning fee even after the apartment was walked through by employee and she said it was one of the cleanest she had seen. Apartments themselves are nice, but small, especially when rates go up 400+ each year."
"I moved to Oregon from California because of school and I have to say that Adrienne made it such an easy process. I contacted her for a listing back in December and she kept in contact with me until one of the units I was looking for was available. Once the place became available, the moving process was so easy. She helped us step by step to finish the application and made it such a breeze for me and my roommates. The day we moved in she left us a nice welcome basket and gave us a tour of our place and the property grounds. The club house is really nice and I always come down every morning to say hi and get my daily cup of coffee. I’ve been telling my classmates that this is the place to be and that if they’re still looking for a place, they should move here!"
"Mediocre at best. We lived here for three years, and I can say with all honesty the only reason we didn't move out was because we didn't have money to pay for a down deposit at a new place. Throughout our time here we've watched management and mantience cycle through fast than you can blink. I think we've had over 8 managers since we moved in. From our first year of living here we slowly watched this place fall into dilapidation. They take almost zero care of their outdoor appearance. At one point the yards were full of beautiful green luscious grass, now dandelions, clover, and other weeds have taken over. Within our years here we saw maintenance take care of "pressure washing," once, where we were told to clear off our decks and patios. A week and a half later when me as well as the neighbors assumed it wasn't happening we put our stuff back outside. They then pressure washed our belongings without giving us a heads up. Not to mention cobwebs still remained after this. Mantience is terrible; we never once had them clean out dryer vents (a HUGE fire hazard with such a large property), they fixed our broken toilet paper holder by caulking it haphazardly to the wall, and fixed our moldy dishwasher by cleaning it out with vinegar... For an apartment that declares themselves to be "Luxury," they certainly leave something to be desired. The buildings are cheaply built, our heating in the living room never worked properly, no mantience person was ever able to resolve it. Cabinets are so cheap I think IKEA makes higher quality ones. The carpet was cheap and installed poorly meaning that the foam underneath began to roll with just normal wear and tear. Walls are thin to the point you can hear neighbors talking at normal volumes. Simply put; if you want to pay 200-300 bucks more than most apartments in this area for stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, go for it. But we're now at a cheap apartment in Albany paying 975 base rent for a two bedroom with a washer and dryer, and are infinitely happier without those "luxuries." They also claim to be a none smoking apartment, but provide a location ON the property to smoke. Best of all, during warm days if you have your window open you get to enjoy the aromas of cigarette smoke in the comfort of your own home. We were given warnings for having empty flower pots (not with dead plants or anything) in the MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY on our patio. We also recieved no less than three warnings in the first few weeks for our dog barking, we had explained that he needed time to adjust and he quickly did. A few months later the hotel across the way then hosted a K-9 convention with many barking police dogs. My husband and I both had to work and we came home to a warning about our dog barking, stating that if "we didn't get him under control, we would have a big problem on our hands." We called the office to explain about the canine convention and she began to profusely apologize. Expect to receive noise violation warnings without evidence, if you live here. Its great. I will also add one of our major grievances. We found out we were expecting this year and unfortunately I'm due a week after our lease renews for our one bedroom, so we realized we would have to move early. We knew there would be a fee to end our lease early. We asked the office about it, and even though we were only ending our lease two months early (after three years of living here) we were stilled charged 1,500 additional dollars to move out. My friends and family were shocked by this. We were too, and we were told there was nothing they could do. We asked to get in contact with the management corporation, and the only way to do so is by snail mail. We're also still waiting to see how much we get back from our deposit after being told it would take up to three weeks, it has now been longer than three weeks, and were just told we won't see our deposit/bill for an additional two weeks. Avoid this place like the plague. Not even if it appeals to you for the college proximity. I promise, it's not."
"Before moving in we read all the negative reviews of the apartments being cheaply made and how management did a poor job. We thought it wouldn’t be that bad. Being in school right across the street we decided to take a chance and move in. Boy were we wrong, avoid at all cost. We live on the 2nd floor and have made several noise complaints about our upstairs neighbors. Management told us they could not even talk to our neighbors about the complaint without audio recording. Fast forward a couple days late, we have a audio recording of neighbors jumping around and blasting music at 3am. Management says they can’t contact our neighbors about a complaint unless we have VIDEO evidence. A week later we here a scratching at our doors about 2 in the afternoon. Open the door to find a pretty big lab that bolts into our apartment and manages to pee all over couch and in the living. We take the dog to the managers office. We discover it is our upstairs neighbors that we’ve been composing about. Management proceeds to tell us their is nothing we they can do about it since the dog is not on their lease. We have now submitted video proof of the neighbors being loud all hours of the night and hear the dog constantly running back and forth. We are paying way too much money for this. We will be in contact with the corporate office Avoid moving in here at all cost."
"Friendly manager and excellent maintenance man. The bad - buildings put up quickly so when they label them as luxorious, it just isn't true. Lots of little issues behind the nice look. No way to contact upper management except snail mail, or general inquiry email if you can find it. Local site manager won't even give you a phone number. I've written both a letter and email and never received a response to either. Unrealistic cleaning expectations when you move out. Both my wife and I have cleaned in previous jobs. We left that place spotless, and they still billed us for 6.5 hours of cleaning. Cost is expensive. Our rent for 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, first floor was going up to nearly $1600. We have a relatively new house, slightly bigger that we pay $1250 on. Buying is a much cheaper option."
