"I’ve lived here since 2016 and have seen a revolving door of managers. They have been terrible at worst to non-existent at best. The negative reviews on here are undoubtedly from before we got a good manager, and at the time were well-deserved. A little over a year ago we got our new manager, and she’s absolutely terrific. It’s a breath of fresh air to have someone who cares, treats us well, and takes care of any issues we might have. The property has never looked so good, and I have never felt more at home than I do now. Looking forward to staying here for years to come."

"I do not live here, I simply was calling to inquire about an apartment the person who answered the phone not only interrupted me I couldn't even ask the Questions I wanted to ask before they hung up on me. If that is how they treat someone inquiring about an apartment I can only imagine how they treat the people who live there. When she answered the phone I couldn't even finish my sentence before for she said she did not have any availability and than cut me off again and said sorry and goodbye before I could say or ask anything else. RUDE!!!"

"Hello! I recently moved in here at the Lakeside Manor Apartments. I have to say that these other reviews are old and out-dated. Since then there has been a change in management. She has a good grip on what is going on and is very in-tune with her renters. Management / maintenance gives you at least a 24-hour notice if they need to do anything and they are very willing to work around your schedule. The apartments are well looked after and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It's own tucked away community. All the staff and neighbors I have met have been very friendly. If you are lucky enough to have a chance at an apartment here, I would certainly stop by. This place is only getting better."

"You could not pay me to have spent another year living in this moldy, run-down trap! The bait is the clean exterior, low rent and included utilities, but once you move in you’ll discover that you made a terrible mistake signing a lease here. Your guests will be harassed, or they’ll attempt to fine you for driving 6 MPH in the parking lot, or you’ll come home to mysterious new problems at your home that need to be repaired. Most of what happened at Lakeside Manor was orchestrated by an on-site “community manager” that runs her husband like a good puppet. The thing she does best is sit on her fat Mexican butt and write professional sounding correspondence, but behind each notice is a petty woman with limited intelligence. She is so lazy that she can't even walk the length of the property. Usually she will either drive her massive SUV around to parking spots that are just for her use, or send her shady Mexican husband to do her dirty work. Her husband is the so-called “maintenance guy” which is a beyond creepy, because he lurks around the units where people have jobs, and lets himself in when they aren't around. You're going to want to make sure you have a camera installed while living here. Just as bad, his quality of repair work is absolutely horrible. Back when I lived there, I let that idiot do a repair in my home while I was at work and after that my power started shutting off randomly (go figure). He has absolutely no ability to even perform basic construction or repairs so if you fill out a repair order, the best that you’re going to get is someone attempting to fix the problem after watching a YouTube video. Even worse, they are always looking for reasons to go into other people's units. On a good year, they may give notice to come into your home as many as 4 or 5 times. They do “unit inspections” twice a year, and yet nothing works like it is supposed to. What are they really doing while they are looking around in other people’s units? I could go on but if these aren’t enough reasons to keep looking elsewhere, you might be a slow learner who is going to figure out the downsides of living here all on your own. You have been warned."

"Management is a joke. Maintenance guy is creepy and only does band-aid fixes instead of really fixing things. They will charge you ridiculous fees for things which should be included. Example.....we have a kitchen light ballast that is obviously not working correctly because it goes through bulbs, rated at 9 years life, about every 6 months. Maintenance can't/won't fix the ballast so they just replace the bulbs and then try to charge us $15 per bulb for it. You can buy two at Bi-mart for $9. Rent goes up about every 6 months. Run like a slum but at average rent prices. Avoid this place!!"
