"Equipment didn’t work, twice. And they wanted to charge me extra without clearing it first cause the replacement was a size up. Sounds like they might do good by locals, but not anyone else. If you’re checking reviews, this probably isn’t the place you want to go."

"I've rented from these folks many times: an excavator, a trailer, brick saws, etc. They are always helpful and reasonably priced. At the start of a trailer rental they checked that the trailer lights worked with power from my rig, then traced down a grounding problem in my truck"s RV electrical plug. Once when I was having trouble with an electric brick saw, they ran a high-amp extension cord over to me (a six-mile drive) to help me get the job done quickly. I expect to be back many times to rent from Philomath Rental. (added in 2021: no change in my opinion, these folks are great. This is the first place I go to rent equipment. Recently it was a stump grinder, then a chipper. I clogged the chipper (dumb mistake) and burned a belt. They came over and helped out and I got the job done the same day -- no extra charge. They earn customer loyalty the hard way - constancy in great service)"

"They were very helpful and the rental prices weren't pricey. The rental were clean and in good condition. And I once wasn't able to return the rental the same day, but got it there when they opened, and I wasn't charged. Not saying they wouldn't charge you I'm sure I got lucky and nobody else was inquiring for the same rental. ☺️"

"We came in today to try to rent a excavator for a day and had a bad experience. A older sales person with glasses was really rude and not helpful. We left and want to Corvallis rentals and the sales people there where much more helpful and we reserved the equipment we needed for the next two weeks."
