Oak Springs Apartments

"I lived at oak springs in a one bedroom for over one and a half years. The complex is nice and the property manager is great. My issues come from the thin walls and loud neighbors. You can hear what’s going on in other units all the time. The company is also pretty strict when it comes to inspections. They do them biyearly and at times it almost feels like they are looking for any reason to fail you and come back. Not to mention the minimal amount of guest parking making it really hard to have people over. That being said the main reason we left was because of wanting to leave a complex and having a bigger space. The price is a bit steep for what you get which is a small dog park, and a gym. The property is well maintained and has a good amount of space to walk your dogs as well as a spot for children to play. Sandy, the property manager was great to us. She was quick to reply to issues and even made sure that the dog walker we hired was actually the dog walker and not someone taking our dog, as well as making sure a reference call she received for our new place was legitimate due to an issue with my name. I would still recommend this place if you don’t mind those few issues, it’s in a great location with decent amenities and access to both 19th in Philomath and Philomath boulevard for easy access to and from Corvallis with minimal traffic. I did enjoy my time at Oak Springs and it really felt like the first place my husband and I could call our home."

"Clean well kept apartments. Management is a bit pushy and over zealous at assuming things are going on when there is nothing happening. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. Location is not to bad for access to area shopping and just 4 miles from OSU Campus."

"It started out as a great place then management/landlord changed, now she’s always after us no matter what we do. Is NOT fair in her treatment of all the tenants. I would not recommend this apartment complex to my enemies!"

"I lived oak spring before, I don't recommend someone rent here, because when you see open house, everything is ok! But when u move in and see your apartment, very poor quality! His manager always come to your apartment check everything!!!! I had received 3 times per month!!!!! I am really very angry！"

"Toured these apartments when I was first moving to the Corvallis area earlier this year. They are a great price for the square footage. However, the person giving me the tour was not able to answer any of my questions and did absolutely no follow-up. Also, even though the place I toured was brand new and never been lived in, there were cracks in the wall/ceiling corners, the outlet covers were put on crooked, it was really difficult to open the balcony door, and really hard to close the front door. These are minor cosmetic issues, but beware that this may mean that the building construction you can't see is also shoddy."
